Welcome to Second Wind Farm! Our herd consists of our beautiful does, two magnificent bucks and pet wethers. Thanks to mentoring from Cheryle Moore-Smith of Old Mountain Farm we are in the process of developing a great small herd. Our goats are housed in a clean airy barn with a fenced pasture. They have constant access to high quality hay and clear well water. They are given the best grain we can buy and have free access to minerals and kelp meal. All our goats are healthy and receive the highest standard of care including annual testing for CAE. Our goats have several areas of varied terrain with rocks, shade and forage. Frequent visitors to our farm are our two sons, their wives and our three grandchildren, Liberty age 10, and her two brothers Duncan and Harrison, 7 year old identical twins. Both Doug and Suzanne are experienced animal people, having been raised in the country surrounded by animals of many kinds. We have had goats for many years and most recently Nigerian Dwarf goats. When we were introduced to the breed we immediately fell in love with their gentle ways and their beauty. We are delighted to have the privilege of their company.
